The WTRCF club volunteered in the annual Sky Fest Tennessee for its fourth time October 2nd and 3rd at McKellar-Sipes Regional Airport in Jackson.  The full-scale air show is held for charity, with all proceeds going to the Kiwanis charities.

The club put on a static display and talked to the public and also flew demonstration flights.

Saturday was cold and cloudy with a very strong breeze and very low ceiling.  We had 22 club members and had 64 airplanes and helicopters on static display.  We were given one hour to fly prior to the full-scale show, but due to a low ceiling continued to fly for another 75 minutes and kept the growing crowd entertained.  All day we talked with interested spectators about the airplanes.

Sunday was a great day for an airshow.  It was about 70 degrees with just a very slight breeze.  Club members flew for an hour and then answered spectator questions the rest of the day.
