Jimmy Gibson was flying his .90 size U-Can-Do with an engine about twice that size when it went dead-stick.  Not having enough power to hover back to the runway anymore, he was unable to make it back to the field and was forced to land in the weeds in the field to the north of the runway.  "It was sitting there impaled on two sticks," Jimmy said.  He plans to have it ready to fly again very soon.

Nick King was flying his new Edge 540 when he suddenly lost control and it dove into the ground.  "It was like it was flying itself," he said.  Unfortunately for Nick, this loss occurred just two weeks after he lost his Javelin to similar circumstances.
